Alternative Dispute Resolution Law in General:
ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION (ADR) is a way of resolving disputes outside of the normal legal
process. It allows for:
- QUICK RESOLUTION
Early resolution saves time, energy and money. Compared with court trials, which can sometimes take years, reference judging, arbitration or mediation can often resolve disputes in a matter of weeks.
- CONTROL
Parties maintain a high level of control over the dispute resolution process and are better able to utilize flexible and creative solutions.
- MAINTAIN PRIVACY
Unlike litigation in public courts, reference judge hearings, mediation and arbitration proceedings are private and all information exchanged is confidential.
- PRESERVE RELATIONSHIPS
Arbitration and mediation are constructive, cooperative methods of resolving disputes which help the parties preserve their relationship.
- SAVE MONEY
Alternative dispute resolution methods are economical alternatives to resolving disputes, avoiding many of the costs and delays associated with full courtroom trials.
- CHOICE & CONVENIENCE
When an arbitrator or reference judge is chosen by you there is more confidence in the decision. Schedule when convenient to you.
